Blockchain technology innovation company SymVerse Labs Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SymVerse Labs) and the incorporated association AI Convergence Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as AI Convergence Research Institute) have joined hands to build a "digital trust infrastructure" in response to the proliferation of generative AI and AI agents.

The two organizations announced on July 9, 2026, that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly research the applicability of an AI trust infrastructure based on SymVerse Labs' quantum-resistant blockchain technology in public and industrial fields, and to discover various utilization models.

This agreement was promoted to lay groundwork for guaranteeing the reliability and integrity of data amidst the rapid advancement of quantum computing and AI technologies. The two organizations plan to jointly design a core infrastructure to address areas where value and importance are growing in the generative AI era, paying attention to ▲ data reliability verification, ▲ prevention of electronic document forgery and alteration, ▲ user authentication and digital identity/authority management, and ▲ securing accountability in automated decision-making.

Under the agreement, SymVerse Labs will provide expert advisory and technical information on its quantum-resistant blockchain, decentralized identity (DID), data integrity verification, and digital signature technologies. In addition, it will support the system design, development, and technical solution direction-setting necessary for application in public and industrial fields.

The AI Convergence Research Institute will be responsible for establishing specific application models and step-by-step demonstration plans that reflect actual field demands in areas such as artificial intelligence services, public data, local government administration, tourism, and education. In particular, it plans to actively participate in planning subsequent joint projects, such as government initiatives and local government demonstration projects, in connection with local governments and regional companies.

Major areas of joint cooperation include the development of models for verifying and managing the history of digital records, such as electronic documents and certificates, in addition to research on quantum-resistant blockchain-based AI trust infrastructure. In particular, their strategy is to strengthen both the digital transformation and security reliability of local industries simultaneously by substantiating step-by-step demonstration scenarios in the public, tourism, and industrial sectors that reflect the characteristics of the Jeju region.

A representative from SymVerse Labs stated, "The world-class quantum-resistant technology showcased by SymVerse 3.0, combined with the research capabilities of the AI Convergence Research Institute, will serve as an opportunity to prove actual data integrity in public and industrial fields." They added, "Starting with this agreement, we will form a working-level consultative body to derive tangible demonstration business results and present a trust standard for the global Web3 market."
